Itinerary
DAY 1 : PICKUP FROM PARO AIRPORT AND TRANSFER TO THIMPHU

(Distance 48 kms | Driving Time: 1:25 hrs)

  • Arrive at Paro Airport (PBH), and proceed towards Thimphu.
  • Arrive in Thimphu and check In to your hotel and freshen up.
  • Check out your locality in Thimphu and try local cuisines or simply relax in the charismatic environment of Bhutan.
  • Overnight stay in Thimphu.
DAY 2 : THIMPHU SIGHTSEEING, STAY IN THIMPHU
  • After breakfast proceed for Thimphu local sightseeing.
  • Visit Buddha Dordenma Statue: a huge statue of Buddha
  • The National Memorial Chorten Stupas: The chorten or stupa was built in the memory of the third king.
  • Takin Zoo: the national animal of Bhutan can be seen here.
  • Changangkha Lhakhang: Oldest surviving temple in Thimphu
  • Simply Bhutan Museum: here you can taste local wine 8Aara’, dress up in traditional clothes, play Bhutan9s National game Archery, meet the superhuman foot carver- Pema Tshering watch the cultural show
    while enjoying the local Bhutanese 8Butter Tea’.
  • Come back to the hotel by evening. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
DAY 3 : THIMPHU TO PUNAKHA SIGHTSEEING, STAY IN PUNAKHA

(Distance 75 kms | Driving Time: 2.5 hrs)

  • After breakfast drive to Punakha.
  • Visit Dochula-Pass: (3150 mts.) a beautiful mountain pass, which is a concentration of 108 memorial stupas.
  • Arrive Punakha, Check In to your hotel. Headout for Sightseeing.
  • Punakha Dzong - is second oldest dzong in Bhutan. Until the mid-1950s it served as the capital and seat of government.
  • Punakha Suspension Bridge: It is one of the longest and oldest suspension bridges in Bhutan.
  • Come back to your hotel. Overnight stay in Punakha.
DAY 4 : PUNAKHA TO PARO, PARO LOCAL SIGHTSEEING, STAY IN PARO

(Distance 115 kms | Driving Time: 3.5 hrs)

  • AAfter breakfast drive to Paro.
  • Arrive Paro Check In to your hotel.
  • Headout for Paro local sightseeing.
  • Ta Dzong – National Museum of Bhutan
  • Rinpung Dzong- Popularly known as, Paro Dzong is situated in the Paro Valley.
  • Come back to your hotel. Overnight stay in Paro.​
DAY 5 : HIKE TO TIGER’S NEST AND OVERNIGHT STAY IN PARO

(Total distance 6.4 Kms | Time : 3-5 Hrs | Altitude: 10,245 Ft Elavation: 900 Mtr )

  • After breakfast, proceed to Tiger’s Nest Monastery, also known as Paro Taktsang, is a sacred Buddhist temple and monastery.
  • The hike to Tiger9s Nest is a easy to moderate one. You9ll be able to do it if you have at least an average level of fitness.
  • For people who cannot make the climb, there are horses available for hire at the starting point.
  • After the hike you can enjoy hot stone batch at countryside.
  • Overnight stay in Paro.
DAY 6 : PICKUP FROM HOTEL AND DROP TO PARO AIRPORT
  • After breakfast checkout from hotel.
  • Drop to Paro Airport for the onward journey.
